Order Food in kohimarama

Ok, I had the pepper garlic beef on rice. It was actually good besides the meat being overcooked. Portions were good too. I read the comments after ordering and was a little scared. I don’t know if I’d go back though after reading that the meat is usually overcooked.

I'm not sure what the one star reviews are about but we went for late dinner 11pm one night and it was so good we went back at 5.30pm the next night for a second go. Generous portions, incredible flavour great service.

A good value, generous serving of tasty chicken and chips. Although the coating over the chicken wasn’t particularly appealing in aesthetics and had no real flavour, what was underneath was very good. The tradie combo of 2 drumsticks, chicken thigh, a good amount of chips and a cold drink for just over $AUD12.50 was definitely worth the money.

We went there for lunchtime. We ordered through QR code, which is very easy and handy. We just need to choose the pictures with the food name and the price. The service was good, nice. Free water and tea available. The pineapple bun was awesome, and the food portion was reasonable. The interior wall is designed nicely and esthetic.

A rest owned by a northern Chinese couple. They are very nice, could not speak mandarin well instead they spoke a dialect. You can still understand them 80%. Food was good, big portion, and most of them are yum. Hi La soup was seasoned with tons of spices and made it undrinkable to me, but other customers seemed fine. It could be personal preference. Price is also reasonable. We will be back for more but not Hu La soup.

As much as we love bal ganga, one thing this place lacks is consistency. We ordered momos (delicious btw) two times in 2 weeks. First time when the owner was there, the order was good. The second time we went, the order wasn’t complete. Momos were carelessly thrown in the container, there was no sauce with it or the special powder/masala was missing.
