quote We went to this restaurant while we were visiting Auckland. The food is fantastic! We had Geoduck sashimi and steamed Storm Shell with garlic and vermicelli. All for live seafood. Very fresh and at a reasonable price. The staffs are also super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

quote My second time at Avondale Takeaway's highly recommended. 2× super burgers were amazing plenty of meat (meat pattie steak and bacon with the usual egg etc). A serve of chips and 6x battered mussels and a hot dog. Had fish from this place a few months ago, very good. They are reasonably priced.

quote Tasty Homely food Located right in the centre of the Auckland city CBD, just behind saravanaa bhawan , good option for vegetarian indian travellers. Food tastes yummy, just like indian street food, i felt like i am eating at my home.. kids loved the food too. Quite popular with locals. There is no dining place though, so you have to Take Away only. Qty is good and 1 dish is sufficient for 2 people ! Reasonably priced too !!

quote Great little hole in the wall place to get flavourful noodle or dupling dishes cheap. Food here is great value for money and the portion sizes are massive. For the 16 bucks i paid, i got the massive bowl of dan dan noodles and mince in the videos and pics i posted. The noodles were filling and flavourful, and im definitely coming back next time im in takapuna

quote An East Auckland staple which you need to try, has been around for a very long time and is popular for a reason. One of the best Beijing roast ducks in town! One of the few, if not the only, place where the chef cuts the duck in front of your table so you can see that you are getting all of the parts. A lot of other great dishes on the menu to try too so you will never leave with an empty stomach. Just remember to book a table just advance if you want to have the Beijing duck, otherwise sometimes they are still able to prepare one for you in around plus or minus 40 mins. Classic Chinese restaurant interior with the bright coloured walls and warm lights, but you can still get nice photos of the food!

quote The food here is soo good but took sooo long! We came here for an early dinner on thursday night and ordered the karaage chicken on curry and udon, the tempura salmon on salad and the beef udon. all three dishes was so delicious and flavour were really nice. BUT, the food took over half an hour to be made and at that point we were really over it. I’d recommend getting takeaways from this place instead of eating there so you don’t have to wait too long or calling and ordering ahead of time.
