I ordered on Uber Eats and had a great lunch. The banh mi was very tasty and flavourful my only con is that it had some type of chilli paste on top maybe that I wasn’t aware of before ordering but i don’t mind spice. However if others were to order on Uber Eats thats just a heads up incase. But other than that it was very nice and would recommend

Delicious!! I tried the lemongrass beef banh mi and iced coffee. The sandwich was tasty with a good amount of beef, crisp veggies, and fresh bread. I asked for spicy, and it had a great kick to it! The coffee was strong and sweet. Prices were very reasonable, and the lady in the kitchen was so nice. Thank you for the food!!

Never judge a book by its cover, or a banh mi by a poor photo! Banh mi Delights Avondale in Auckland is my last stop on my Banh mi adventure of NZ, and with changing plans comes a quick google search and a random Banh mi lunch stop.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to get but the recent reviews seems pretty good.
And for good reason, packed with punch this was. Lemongrass beef with extra chilli and my tastebuds were singing. Glad my plans changed. 👏

JUST DELICIOUS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
First off, the lady there, I think her name is Kieu? Is the sweetest person ever. She gave me and my family such a warm, positive experience and even handed my little brother some mandarins. You can just tell she genuinely cares about her customers.
Now about the food, because Kieu absolutely knows her stuff.
The beef pho was so good I devoured it in under a minute. I didn’t even get a photo before I was already ordering another one to take home. The broth was rich and comforting, the beef was perfectly tender, and every bite just hit right. And for once, I actually drank the whole bowl of broth.
And the barbecue pork banh mi? Amazing. They cut their pork nice and thick, super generous with the fillings, and everything tasted so fresh. They even gave me extra pate for free, which was such a lovely surprise. In this economy? Bless Kieu and her whole family.
I’m honestly so glad I found this place through the Avondale Mainstreet Facebook page. Everything about it made me happy. 🤤🤤🤤

The beef noodle was better than most with a pinch of spiciness but a bit pricey at NZD 17. The rice spring rolls were a bit chewy but portion were bigger than most @ NZD 10. The stall is a not in a shop lot but operated as a food truck with only 1 small table with 2 chairs for dine in.
