Reducing the star rating to 4 stars for one reason only. The staff members are often not that friendly. I've been going to Basu lounge for around 8 years, and at some points the staff were so lovely and inviting. Unfortunately this isn't always the case. A smile helps. People don't want to feel like they are not wanted in the restaurant.

Trued the dandan noodle - medium spicy. Wasn't spicy for me so will get spicy next time. But wow! Noodle was savoury, delicious and amazing. The intense peanut flavour was ππ

Basu Lounge is my favourite takeaway place in Auckland!!! The food is so delicious and generous and full of flavour. The staff are so helpful and kind. I find myself craving the hot and sour noodle soup all the time - unbeatable. Thank you!
