Order Food in remuera

My friends highly recommended this seafood restaurant, my expectations were also set very high. Unfortunately, upon trying it out, the taste and quality of the ingredients were average at best.

A rest owned by a northern Chinese couple. They are very nice, could not speak mandarin well instead they spoke a dialect. You can still understand them 80%. Food was good, big portion, and most of them are yum. Hi La soup was seasoned with tons of spices and made it undrinkable to me, but other customers seemed fine. It could be personal preference. Price is also reasonable. We will be back for more but not Hu La soup.

As much as we love bal ganga, one thing this place lacks is consistency. We ordered momos (delicious btw) two times in 2 weeks. First time when the owner was there, the order was good. The second time we went, the order wasn’t complete. Momos were carelessly thrown in the container, there was no sauce with it or the special powder/masala was missing.

The best place you can get perfect Vietnamese sandwiches, perfect balance sweet sour and savory , yumyum will come back again definitely

The interior is a bit shabby, but this is a must visit for Beijing duck (Peking duck) lovers if you're in Auckland. The chef is from a famous restaurant in China, and wheels out the duck to carve in front of you. Super reasonably priced at only $60 for a whole duck! Note: Phone to book the duck beforehand, or it's about a 45min - 1 hour wait if you're ordering the duck on the spot. The spicy chicken dish is also really tasty, definitely recommended.

Ordered wonton noodle soup for $12 at midday. No other customer. Service was quick but the soup didn't have garnish or vegetables. But the soup was great
