New Flavour has officially become our late-night go-to spot! 🌙🍴 We ordered Egg Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, and a super refreshing Cucumber Salad – everything was absolutely yummy 😋🔥 The rice was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and not oily at all. The cucumber salad balanced it out beautifully – light, crunchy, and refreshing. 🥒✨ If you’re craving a tasty, satisfying dinner after hours, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend it! 🙌

First time at Nitefun 98 Bar Restaurant & Gaming Lounge — and definitely won’t be the last! The staff were absolutely amazing — super friendly, accommodating, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The cocktail selection was fantastic, with plenty of fun and creative options to try. We ordered the squid rings and spring rolls, and both were delicious! The dipping sauce was a little too spicy for my liking 🥴, but still packed with great flavor. We booked Karaoke Room 2, which fit our group of 10 comfortably — spacious, clean, and with an awesome song list that kept us singing all night! 🎤🎶 Overall, an awesome vibe, great service, and a perfect spot for a fun night out with friends. Highly recommend checking it out!

Good Selection of indo-american appetizers. Their selection of pizzas is good. It is vegetarians and vegan friendly. Their $1.99 fries is worth the hype. I liked dal tadka more than dal makhni. Paneer Amritsari is good but it is very similar to kadayi paneer. If you like creamy curry go for butter masala sauce/gravy with your favourite protein. I tried paneer but they have meats options as well.

Sheng Ji in Newmarket is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Hong Kong style comfort food. A major highlight is their highly efficient self ordering system. By simply scanning a QR code at the table, you can browse a detailed digital menu with photos and place your order instantly. This modern touch makes dining incredibly convenient and stress-free, especially during busy hours. It’s also a huge plus that they stay open until late at night, making it the perfect go to for a late dinner or midnight snack in Auckland. The food is where this place truly shines. The cold tossed fish skin is a must-try;it has a wonderful crunchy texture and is seasoned perfectly, making it a refreshing and authentic appetizer. We also thoroughly enjoyed the stewed beef brisket, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the steamed chicken, which was incredibly silky and paired perfectly with the ginger-scallion sauce. To wash it all down, their traditional iced milk tea is rich and authentic. Whether you are stopping by for a quick lunch or a late-night feast, the combination of high-quality Cantonese dishes and the seamless digital ordering process makes Sheng Ji a top choice.

Was keen to try this place after seeing the reviews, but it ended up being pretty underwhelming. We ordered the chicken nibbles with fries, the Sichuan chicken, and the mango sago. The chicken nibbles were tasty and very crispy, but the fries were quite dry. The Sichuan chicken was definitely not authentic. When we ordered it, the staff didn’t even seem aware it was on the menu. It was served warm, even though proper Sichuan kou shui ji is a chilled dish, and the menu even says it should be served cold. The chicken pieces looked like they’d been torn apart carelessly, and the dish didn’t resemble what you’d expect (or the photo on their own menu). The mango sago also missed the mark. The texture was strangely thick, with barely any mango, and the mango that was there tasted canned. A good sago should be light, silky, and have fresh mango flavour this wasn’t that. The staff were friendly and easy to deal with, but overall I wouldn’t be rushing back.
