Food top tier. Very affordable for the high quality of the food. I got a salmon platter and was very pleased with the quality and presentation, especially since the shop itself aesthetically wasnt great.

Great taste, big portion, reasonably priced. recommended for those after Asian food in Dunedin. They got a variety of choices on their menu. Also solo traveler friendly with their rice set.

New owner , he was very generous and kind. Food was good. Very friendly service. Chip is amazingly yum. Taste so good, crispy and fast service. If you like satay dish, they also have good satay beef. So good. My family love their cheese burgers.

Fantastic South Indian food! A real delight to find such good cuisine in this small part of the world. The owners are passionate about what they do and it shows in the food. My colleague and I visited multiple of times during our 10 day stay in Dunedin and it was consistently good everytime. The Masala Dosas are a winner, extra crispy, with layers of soft fluffy pastry and full of potato masala. Awesome textures all round. The curries (we tried all the meat ones) were rich, full of flavour and well balanced. Same with the Biryani. I've had Indian food in many places around the world, including India, and the food here is a standout. I highly recommend Dosa ect. for anyone visiting Dunedin and wish the owners all the best 👍

Reserved at this Indian restaurant due to the excellent reviews - NOT DISAPPOINTED! It is excellent. Highly recommend the Lamb Biryani served under baked Naan. Very authentic and delicious. Quick, pleasant nice service & vg value for money. By 7pm it was getting busy which, on a Monday evening, is testament to super food.

The food is great! I've tried dishes from different Filipino restaurants and this place cooks the best lechon belly, dinuguan, and vegetable soup (5/5 rating)! I'll give 3.5 to karekare as it needs improvement. Staff members are friendly and patient. The place is family-friendly. Overall I think its 4.7/5.
