quote Stopped in for dinner while in Hamilton recently. Ordered the vegetable curry on rice. Nicely cooked with fresh veges but the 'curry' wasn't what I was expecting. I've encountered this before and it's more of a pale yellow liquid with a bit of heat but without the *real* yellow curry taste and aroma. Other than this the dish was ok and the service was good.

If you are near Hamilton, NZ, and got cravings for some spice and symphony of taste on the tip of your tongue, then you shall find it at Bala's. - Staff is friendly and accommodating. They changed the music for us which I think was impressive. - The food has been reviewed so many times, no need to comment. Tables and cutlery was clean. Decorum and everything else is top notch, and very well presented. - Toilet was clean, well stocked. - Parking on the side, several car ports. At lunch time, plentiful. - The premises has a separate hall for functions, as on photo. Every time I'm near, I will be having a pit-stop at Bala's. Massive respect to the whole team!

quote Excellent authentic Turkish dinning experience. Ordered the chefs special meze and a side of mix meat, and both were made to perfection. The Turkish uncle gave us this recommendation and it was on point with what we were looking for. His enthusiasm when discussing the food, alongside the decor of this establishment, provided a comforting and genuine atmosphere to accompany our meal. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
