Singaporean food can be divided into five types: meat, seafood, rice, noodles, dessert and snacks. Singapore is especially renowned for its seafood. Chili crab and black pepper crab are two quintessential dishes that dominate the scene and are greatly recommended to tourists. Another favourite is sambal stingray. quote If you are in the neighbourhood do drop by for the good salted vegetable soup, rich, tasty and appetising at the same time. But the yam rice lack of its yam…. And that disappoint me.

quote Great Teow Chew cuisine. The downside is the shop has a pretty small space. The biggest table can probably accommodate around 8 people. They only allowed 1 hr / table. If you come in a group, it’s better to make reservations as they usually have certain queues. My favorite is the fried lye fun. Reasonable pricing. Too bad I wasn’t able to try their dessert as it was sold out by 7pm.
