Order Food in lower-hutt

The curries here taste amazing and really give you a taste of India! The service however isn't good, but it isn't bad either. Somehow they missed my garlic naan, even though it was just me ordering. So best to order just takeaway and skip the dine in. Also the Minced Lamb Kebabs weren't all that great for the price of $18.

Authentic Chinese restaurant! Orange beef - $25.50 Good portion and the sauce was very thick and full with flavour. Seafood and tofu hot pot...? Yummy! We ordered the family Chinese pack at $41.80. $5.20 cheaper than down the road. Sweet and Sour pork, Chicken chow mein and combination fried rice. Worth the effort of writing this review. It didn’t taste of MSG and was fresh full of Vegies and good amount of meat. We really enjoyed it and will be back

Overall very good place for a reasonable price. Got the twice cooked prawns with chili sauce, which was very tasty, a bit spicy, and pretty messy. The peppered beef was delicious. Generous portion sizes and great service! Food came out very hot temperature wise! (Which I appreciate) Also tried the fried banana dessert which was tasty! Also had wontons and crispy crab dumplings. The crab dumplings were fantastic and the wontons good!

Noodle Canteen has been nothing but consistent, whether it be here or anywhere else in the country. Number 17 has been my go to for the past decade and they've never skimped on portion. The staff, as always, is friendly and provides excellent service. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for some satisfying Asian cuisine.

The staff are so lovely here! This isn't our local shop but we always stop here when we are in the area. The pricing is a bit high but I can confirm the serving size is generous and the food is delicious! The kids really enjoy the homemade burgers here!
