IG: 2Fish1Chip Picked up a value pack via Uber Eats as the weather didn’t motivate me to go for a drive. Order: 2 Fish, chips, sausage and hotdog Cost: $25.20 Fish was Warehou clean and smelt good and the size was good too. That was the best bits as the usual golden crunch of the batter was not there and the filet was noticeably chewy. If you’ve ever reheated FNC in the meecrowhavey the next day, the texture of everything doesn’t hit the spot, and that’s the experience I had here. The chips were a bit floppy side and soft to the bite. They reminded me of the chips you can get from a bakery selling chicken, which was okay just not that typical Chinese Chip Standard 😒 The sausage and hotdog were true to form and delivered the expected experience. Good size and very tasty, light in the oil as well. I tried to figure it out, but I’ve had chippy dinners from over the hill before, and they have arrived in a better state. Can only describe it as ‘Aueeee’

A nice place in the lower hutt city to try out authentic Chinese food. Specially a halal menu. Can accommodate different group sizes. Would be a nice place to hang around with friends and family. Food was superb and delicious and I visited second time as well. Beijing roast duck was amazing and I tried it for the first time. Dumplings tasted well. We tried out many dishes there and did not regret of ordering and tasting for the first time. Definitely recommend and worth visiting many times to taste the food since they consistently maintain the same level of quality.

IG: 2Fish1Chip Order: Fish, 1/2 Scoop of chips, Corn fritter and a sausage. Cost: $21 The fish was of a good size and coated nicely with a crunchy batter for most of it. Some spots the batter was soft. The flesh was a little rubbery to the bite, so didn’t give off those ‘fresh feels’. The chips were okay and better off in a chip butty, soft and pillowy right through. Corn fritter was ‘gluggy’ due to a batter mix and not the mash potato that’s the way forward! Disappointing really. The sausage was well, exactly as it looked lol. In terms of value, I gotta say it’s not there. Yes for portion size, but a hard No on quality and taste.

A lovely relaxing place of tranquility. I popped in for lunch to escape shopping at The Mall and had great experience. The waitress was attentive, professional and non-invasive. The food was hot fresh and delicious. And the environment relaxing and tranquil. Perfect 👍
