The food was very good, the milkshakes were also really good. Restaurant is cool from the inside with lots of details. Staff are super friendly, gave us lots of compliments. Complimentary air hockey table for customers , and tv for the little ones!

Excellent service, best in the town. Every bite is delicious, fresh, and made with so much care. Best homemade food at a cheap price.

So many awesome reviews and photos.. this place is really popular, so let me add my 50 cents in the kitty. If you are near Hamilton, NZ, and got cravings for some spice and symphony of taste on the tip of your tongue, then you shall find it at Bala's. - Staff is friendly and accommodating. They changed the music for us which I think was impressive. - The food has been reviewed so many times, no need to comment. Tables and cutlery was clean. Decorum and everything else is top notch, and very well presented. - Toilet was clean, well stocked. - Parking on the side, several car ports. At lunch time, plentiful. - The premises has a separate hall for functions, as on photo. Every time I'm near, I will be having a pit-stop at Bala's. Massive respect to the whole team!

The absolute best Chinese restaurant in NZ hands down! This is my favourite restaurant; I’ve never been disappointed EVER! Enjoy the flavours from an award winning chef and super reasonable prices too; something for everyon. This is the place to go if you’re in Hamilton hands down!!!

We found this gem while traveling through the area. The staff were so pleasant and friendly, very welcoming. We were in for such a treat with these amazing curry dishes. Everything tasted fantastic and could not have been happier. They give very generous portions of naan which were my favorite to complement the curry. If I lived in the area I would come back again. What a great place.
