The food was very good, the milkshakes were also really good. Restaurant is cool from the inside with lots of details. Staff are super friendly, gave us lots of compliments. Complimentary air hockey table for customers , and tv for the little ones!

So many awesome reviews and photos.. this place is really popular, so let me add my 50 cents in the kitty. If you are near Hamilton, NZ, and got cravings for some spice and symphony of taste on the tip of your tongue, then you shall find it at Bala's. - Staff is friendly and accommodating. They changed the music for us which I think was impressive. - The food has been reviewed so many times, no need to comment. Tables and cutlery was clean. Decorum and everything else is top notch, and very well presented. - Toilet was clean, well stocked. - Parking on the side, several car ports. At lunch time, plentiful. - The premises has a separate hall for functions, as on photo. Every time I'm near, I will be having a pit-stop at Bala's. Massive respect to the whole team!

We found this gem while traveling through the area. The staff were so pleasant and friendly, very welcoming. We were in for such a treat with these amazing curry dishes. Everything tasted fantastic and could not have been happier. They give very generous portions of naan which were my favorite to complement the curry. If I lived in the area I would come back again. What a great place.

My 5 stars reflect the quality of food, prices and the delicious flavors maintained consistently in the dishes that come out of the kitchen. My goto takeaway shop for Indian food in Hamilton, the staff is almost busy all the time but attends to you respectfully even in haste, know how to handle peak times. Indochinese is my favorite here!

Great for late night takeaways as stall opens till late. Serving portion is pretty generous I feel, though food could be better. Tried their fish and chips around a week or two back and I thought there was too much salt used in it.

Absolutely love this place! Sensational Chicken really lives up to the name. Proper tasty halal fried chicken, loads of variety to choose from, and the prices are spot on. Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious, can’t fault it. Plus, they do online orders and delivery too, which is super handy. Definitely a go-to if you're after a decent meal without breaking the bank, enjoy 😊
