I’m still thinking about the flavours! Surena Persian Restaurant completely blew me away. This was my first visit, and it definitely won’t be my last. The food was outstanding. The meats were incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavour, with every bite feeling spot on. From the fragrant saffron rice to the rich, comforting stews and freshly baked bread, everything tasted homemade and prepared with real care. On top of that, the service was amazing, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re craving authentic Persian food that truly delivers, this place is a must. Absolutely yum!

We happily discovered Tida by accident in 2024 because our usual Persian place was closed. We went again last weekend to bring our friend who was celebrating her birthday. We will bring another set of friends next week. We can't get enough. The food is excellent. We loved the tahdig with the meat in between, the koobideh, the appetiser platter, just everything. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist and tasty. The best thing about this restaurant though is the unbelievable service. It is excellent! It's alert, friendly, and impeccable! We asked that the remaining food be transferred to a smaller serving plate to make more space for the other dishes. It came back well presented with the cucumber slices and herbs decorating the smaller plate. This kind of attention to detail is found in 5-star restaurants ... and not all 5-star restaurants are this attentive. There were only 2 staff taking care of everyone in the dining area plus the kitchen, yet they managed to do everything flawlessly. Can't wait for Saturday and introduce this place to other friends. I’ve been coming to this Indian & Persian restaurant for many years, and it’s still one of my regular go-to spots. The food is consistently delicious rich flavours, perfect seasoning, and generous portions every time. You can tell the dishes are made with genuine care and authentic recipes. The team is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the quality has stayed outstanding over all the years I’ve been visiting. If you love great Indian or Persian cuisine, this place is an absolute must-try. Highly recommend!

Although the food we tried was very different to what Australians might be used to it was still a lovely experience. The owner was the nicest guy. If your feeling adventurous try something different but if you stick with something you know it will be delicious.
