Thought we'd try Adanaa Turkish Takeaway tonight. Wasn't bad, quite a lot of salad and to a lesser extent rice, but not much chicken percentage wise.. Tasty but was a little bland, so overall an average experience.

Service was friendly, food was delicious and quick, can't praise it highly enough. There are main size plates of food and smaller dim sum. Husband and I shared sizzling lamb, salt & pepper squid, prawn toast (my personal favourite), deep fried shiu Mai, Westlake beef soup. There is also a bar. Can't believe it wasn't busier, will definitely be back. Sorry wed eaten some of the food before we took a picture!

My family and I have been regular visitors to Asian Wok, and it never fails to hit the spot for our Chinese food cravings! This gem of a restaurant consistently delivers mouthwatering dishes with vibrant flavors that keep us coming back for more. Some of our absolute favorites include the succulent tiger prawns, the rich and savory salted fish and eggplant casserole, and the perfectly crisp green beans fry. The steamed pork ribs are tender and packed with flavor, while the beef honeycomb in peanut sauce and kung pao chicken bring just the right balance of spice and texture. We also can’t get enough of the beef and spring onion stir-fry, which is always a crowd-pleaser. Every dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic flavors that make every bite a delight. The staff’s attentiveness and the welcoming atmosphere only add to the experience, making Asian Wok our go to spot for Chinese cuisine in Auckland. If you’re looking for delicious food, fast service, and a friendly vibe, I highly recommend giving Asian Wok a try, you won’t be disappointed!

My second time at Avondale Takeaway's highly recommended. 2× super burgers were amazing plenty of meat (meat pattie steak and bacon with the usual egg etc). A serve of chips and 6x battered mussels and a hot dog. Had fish from this place a few months ago, very good. They are reasonably priced.

We got 3 pizzas, chicken tandoori, beef pepperoni and margeretta. The pizza base was really good. There was definately more than one pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza 😂. The staff was polite and helpful. They could improve their dine in services but it was clean, affordable and tasty

Been going to Blue Chip for the last six years New people in there now and I’m not happy with the food. Potato fritters are tiny, chips aren’t fresh and crispy tasting. . Chicken burnt The oil isn’t clean Paid over $95 for food, Chips missing. Definitely will not be returning. How sad they can’t do better than the last people that were there Goodbye Blue Chip. It was good when it was good. Now it’s just terrible
