My family and I have been regular visitors to Asian Wok, and it never fails to hit the spot for our Chinese food cravings! This gem of a restaurant consistently delivers mouthwatering dishes with vibrant flavors that keep us coming back for more. From the moment you walk in, the warm and friendly service makes you feel right at home, and the speed at which the food arrives is impressive without compromising quality. Some of our absolute favorites include the succulent tiger prawns, the rich and savory salted fish and eggplant casserole, and the perfectly crisp green beans fry. The steamed pork ribs are tender and packed with flavor, while the beef honeycomb in peanut sauce and kung pao chicken bring just the right balance of spice and texture. We also can’t get enough of the beef and spring onion stir-fry, which is always a crowd-pleaser. Every dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic flavors that make every bite a delight. I came here last night and ordered the potato fritters, fish and chips along with the sweet and sour pork which was really fresh and tasted like a authentic Chinese taste. Both the fried foods were also on point as they were fresh and crunchy

Cozy little Vietnamese shop tucked away in the small Glendene Shopping Centre. Store is run by a small lovely family and always greets you with a smile. The pho was tasty (flavour tasted more on the sweet side) and bahm mi was full of meat althought the bun seemed like it was starting to get a bit soggy. Good price and value for lunch.

Really love this place. We live out of Auckland, so it's becoming a regular stop when we visit family. Wonderful staff and always friendly. Food is wonderful, and I really enjoy it everything even if im not sure they give great recommendations. We only get takeaway but would definitely dine in. The place is always quiet when we come. Honestly, I love it being quiet because it's a more personal experience, but I really hope more people come to support this amazing business. Keep doing that you are doing it's amazing place.

The staff are super friendly, always happy to help out. Heaps tasty: Mt Cook Roll - seriously good! Sushi of the Day - changes daily, always a winner (8 pieces for $7.40!) Teriyaki Chicken - spot on! Vibes: Laid-back, modern, and sweet as for a takeaway or dine-in. Service: Top notch, crew's got smiles. Extra addition: you'll have your choices for every ingredient on your sushi for their special deal!

This could be our go to cheap, quick, and bang for your buck lunch. For $11 each katsu bowl is definitely a steal. You also have an option to remove the salad or not, and the amount you get is more than what you would get at other Japanese mainstream joints. The katsu bowl itself is nothing fancy but has the staple taste you would find when expecting Japanese in a quick lunch setting.
