Order Food in beach-haven

Ate here one evening with a group and we shared multiple platters of Yangzhou fried rice and their assortment of kebabs. The kebabs tasted decent - I find they are a tad salty. The quality of the food is the price you pay. But I just want to point out their fried garlic chicken, it is levels above the other food we were served and everyone quickly ate it, the crunchiness and strong garlic flavour is addictive. Also the restaurant has nice views of the harbour for diners to see.

My family and I have been regular visitors to Asian Wok, and it never fails to hit the spot for our Chinese food cravings! This gem of a restaurant consistently delivers mouthwatering dishes with vibrant flavors that keep us coming back for more. From the moment you walk in, the warm and friendly service makes you feel right at home, and the speed at which the food arrives is impressive without compromising quality. Some of our absolute favorites include the succulent tiger prawns, the rich and savory salted fish and eggplant casserole, and the perfectly crisp green beans fry. The steamed pork ribs are tender and packed with flavor, while the beef honeycomb in peanut sauce and kung pao chicken bring just the right balance of spice and texture. We also can’t get enough of the beef and spring onion stir-fry, which is always a crowd-pleaser. Every dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic flavors that make every bite a delight. The staff’s attentiveness and the welcoming atmosphere only add to the experience, making Asian Wok our go to spot for Chinese cuisine in Auckland. Tasty Homely food Located right in the centre of the Auckland city CBD, just behind saravanaa bhawan , good option for vegetarian indian travellers. Food tastes yummy, just like indian street food, i felt like i am eating at my home.. kids loved the food too. Quite popular with locals. There is no dining place though, so you have to Take Away only. Qty is good and 1 dish is sufficient for 2 people ! Reasonably priced too !!

My partner recommended this restaurant for its dry noodles with peanut sauce, so we decided to visit for dinner on Sunday. We ordered the dry noodles with peanut sauce and dumplings (dandan noodles), kkwobarou, and shrimp fried rice. The noodles were delicious as expected! The peanut sauce paired perfectly with the dumplings. We loved it. The fried rice was quite good and generously portioned. Lastly, the kkwobarou, fried with a layer of glutinous rice, was incredibly tasty and sweet. I really enjoyed it! Overall, we had a great dinner here and this place is highly recommended.
