Order Food in saint-albans

This was our first time visiting an Afghan restaurant, and it completely took us by surprise! The food was incredibly authentic and full of flavor. We ordered kebabs with rice, along with Afghan Sheeryakh and Shikanji drinks—everything was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful dinner with our family and truly loved every bit of the experience. The Kadak tea was next level—an absolute must try! We are definitely coming back. The owner was extremely kind and even treated us to an extra tea, which made the evening even more special. I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Authentic Turkish Doner Kebabs! The food was fresh, flavourful, and truly lived up to the name — authentic in every bite. Shawqi looked after me and provided amazing service — super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does. Highly recommend this place if you want genuine Turkish flavours and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very pleasantly surprised by this place! We got hungry after midnight and found this place near our hotel. Really tasty, great portions, lots of veggies in the wrap!! very clean inside, friendly staff!

Wow. Just wow. Incredible, helpful, friendly staff. And the food, I got the money bags and some chill lemongrass beef noodles. Money bags and dipping sauce blew me away. Flavor like nothing I've ever had! So delicately crispy and delicious. The chilli noodles were just spicy enough! Flavor 10/10 and so so fresh! Massive portion and for those two items and a drink it cost $30 which is incredibly cheap for what you receive. Go eat at this place asap!!

We ordered Beef brisket noodles. It was mouth-watering experience. Broth was rich in flavour and portion was huge. Good for 2 I guess but I was so hungry that time I was able to finish all. Parking was on the back. Church corner market area.

Stunning souvlaki. I had a medium souvlaki combo, chicken & falafel. The chicken was juicy & tender with no gross bits, and the falafel was authentic and delicious. Honestly the best souvlaki I’ve had. Fresh salad, lots of meat/falafel, truly authentic sauces. Absolutely epic! I’d give a higher rating if I could. Reasonable prices, cheaper than the one a couple of shops away (though I haven’t tried their souvlaki- but I don’t need to because these ones are perfect!). It’s on Papanui road (a busy road) but the shop itself is nice and quiet, being a narrow and deep space. There are 3 x large booth seats that would fit about 6 people each, and a bar leaner with 4 seats looking out onto Papanui road. Quiet unobtrusive music playing in the background & the staff give you peace (glorious), responding warmly if you speak to them. Highly recommend this gem of a shop!
