The souvlaki here was delicious and well-priced! I got a small one with chicken (mild) for $12.99. The pita was full of veges and the chicken was seasoned well. Loved the sauces too! Will be back.

This is our number one restaurant in Christchurch that we visit. Because of dietary restrictions we have to choose well & we are able to eat the salads, rice, sauces & meats. The Egyptian Kebab House are fair on prices for what we get & honestly they do the best salad meats ever. My son is GI & he orders the meat, salads & sauces on rice & he always goes back for more. The sauces we get are homemade & delicious & they do the best hummus. The meat options they cook are big tender chunks (the best tender meats by far.) We have been dining at the Egyptian Kebab House now for years & we have got on very well with the owners of this restaurant. Nice to be able to dine in & we always seem to be able to find a table. They have a tv to watch & the manager & staff are incredibly nice & welcoming. Drinks can be purchased in-store & the meals are on the larger side & they do not skimp on the meats & sauces. Lots of different sauces to choose from & always tasting fresh meats & salads & good atmosphere. This review is long overdue.

I'm a regular dinner of this restaurant. The food here is really good. Good size portion and the owner is really nice. My favourite here is Meat & Chips. Strongly recommend the food here.

The mixed kebab is so delicious, generous helpings of meat and sauces but not so much you don't get the authentic flavours. I was also lucky enough to try the Turkish Delight and Baklava made onsite just ... amazing!
