EDIT: The owner reached out via phone today, apologised for the error and rectified it. We will definitely be coming back here every time we have Fish & Chips from now on. The service has been second to none. Fish & Chips from Yarra Ave used to be a weekly ritual in our household until the old owner sold up years ago and the food went downhill really quickly. We decided to give it another try recently and were pleasantly surprised at the improvement of the food. I was craving fish & chips tonight after a long day so we decided to phone through an order. We repeated our order twice on the phone and the girl taking the order then repeated it back to us to make sure it was correct, which it was. When we got to the shop to pick up the order, the staff member repeated our order again, as it was rung up on the register for us to pay. Once again, the order was repeated correctly. We got home ready to tuck in and found that we had only been given 2x fish nuggets, despite ordering and paying for 2 of the 5x fish nuggets (10 total). Tried to call the shop as soon as we realised however the phone went unanswered.

Best chips in the area!! Recently moved nearby and have been systematically trying different Fish & Chip shops around the place, each a couple times. Been here a couple times now and both batches were on point - in fact I'd say the last lot I had were perfection. I look forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.

Ordered first time via menulog. Great fish and chips restaurant really respected the instructions i left and accommodated my needs. Very delicious and serving portion is excellent and very neatly packaged. Will def order again! ALSO that jam donut was amazinggg the dough was so fluffy fr and good and the jam 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
