My family and I have been regular visitors to Asian Wok, and it never fails to hit the spot for our Chinese food cravings! This gem of a restaurant consistently delivers mouthwatering dishes with vibrant flavors that keep us coming back for more. From the moment you walk in, the warm and friendly service makes you feel right at home, and the speed at which the food arrives is impressive without compromising quality. Some of our absolute favorites include the succulent tiger prawns, the rich and savory salted fish and eggplant casserole, and the perfectly crisp green beans fry. The steamed pork ribs are tender and packed with flavor, while the beef honeycomb in peanut sauce and kung pao chicken bring just the right balance of spice and texture. We also can’t get enough of the beef and spring onion stir-fry, which is always a crowd-pleaser. Every dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic flavors that make every bite a delight. Tasty Homely food Located right in the centre of the Auckland city CBD, just behind saravanaa bhawan , good option for vegetarian indian travellers. Food tastes yummy, just like indian street food, i felt like i am eating at my home.. kids loved the food too. Quite popular with locals. There is no dining place though, so you have to Take Away only. Qty is good and 1 dish is sufficient for 2 people ! Reasonably priced too !!

My partner recommended this restaurant for its dry noodles with peanut sauce, so we decided to visit for dinner on Sunday. We ordered the dry noodles with peanut sauce and dumplings (dandan noodles), kkwobarou, and shrimp fried rice. The noodles were delicious as expected! The peanut sauce paired perfectly with the dumplings. We loved it. The fried rice was quite good and generously portioned. Lastly, the kkwobarou, fried with a layer of glutinous rice, was incredibly tasty and sweet. I really enjoyed it! Overall, we had a great dinner here and this place is highly recommended.

Kiwi style Chinese fried rice right here - IYKYK. - Steak fried rice 10/10 Perfect rice, balance of peas, bean sprouts, egg, and steak. Rice has a slight char, showing that the wok is well used and high quality. Any of the rice dishes is a must. - Combination egg foo yong 8.5/10 Great portion size, would do 3 people. Still had egg moisture seeping through the paper plate, but the dish was moist nice Combination of meats. - Chips 7/10 Need to add salt too many small end bit for my liking - Mussel and scallops 8/10 Well battered good quality size, they should ve @ 3.50 each. Highly suggest happy with their food prep, and friendly people.

It’s been a while since we bought from here. Never disappointed. Value for money. We ordered the special deal steak chow mein/chicken fried rice combo at $34. Enough to feed a family of 4. And 1 portion of fries for $4.50 - enough for 2 people. Quick service. Securely wrapped and ready to go. Delicious and plenty leftover for tomorrow. The chips were cooked to perfection. Based at Northcote shopping centre next to Woolworth supermarket. Lots of free parking. Very popular and busy takeaway. ❤️
