Spicy burger was good and fresh! Could be spicier though. Chicken popcorn was delicious, juicy and tender. The chips were cooked perfectly with amazing chicken salt on them. The lady was friendly and food was ready quickly. Would definitely go back.

This was our first time visiting an Afghan restaurant, and it completely took us by surprise! The food was incredibly authentic and full of flavor. We ordered kebabs with rice, along with Afghan Sheeryakh and Shikanji drinks—everything was absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful dinner with our family and truly loved every bit of the experience.
The Kadak tea was next level—an absolute must try! We are definitely coming back. The owner was extremely kind and even treated us to an extra tea, which made the evening even more special.
I’ve added some pictures to the review so you can see how authentic and amazing everything looked. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Authentic Turkish Doner Kebabs! The food was fresh, flavourful, and truly lived up to the name — authentic in every bite. Shawqi looked after me and provided amazing service — super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does.
Highly recommend this place if you want genuine Turkish flavours and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

It is a solid option and might be the best Turkish food in the CBD. The food was prepared very promptly, and it’s open until very late, which is great in case you get the munchies after a night out. It’s a shame that kebabs and meat with chips are more expensive than they used to be, but that’s more of a general comment. The meat and sauce options here are as good as any. A solid choice overall.

I have never bought fish and chips for lunch before but some factors led me here.
1. It was hovering around 0 degrees and I wanted warm food.
2. I needed to get out of the house and go for a walk and it was closest store according to Google Maps.
3. I have been hammered by bills in the last few weeks and didn’t to spend more than $10.
A big and hot lunch for $8 was a steal. It was super busy and their menu and stir fried meals looked amazing.

They definitely worth their stars.
The food is very nice, big quantity, not overly salty. My family favourites are the seasonal vegetables and chicken fried rice.
This is a good place to do takeouts if u have big family. Well done and thank you serving us such delicious food during my trip in Christchurch. 🙇🏻♀️
