Order Taiwanese Food in Mount Roskill

A small food place in the neighbourhood of Flat Bush. Serves nice steamed buns and hot soy milk. Price is reasonable and portion is decent. The guy at the counter is super friendly too!

Popped in for a morning tea as a break whilst merchandising in The Warehouse next door. Had a lemon curd muffin and medium mocha. The muffin was fantastic, no hunting for the lemon curd it was beautiful and the coffee was great too. Decently priced and such lovely friendly staff. I wish there were more of these in Tauranga.

Good place to have a bite. The buns are always good; get the cabbage and red bean buns. Their fried dumplings are also delicious; we love the pork and chives, which I highly recommend. Overall OK but not that impressive.

auce—the crunch on the pork was next-level! The classic pork BBQ skewers had that perfect sweet, sticky char, and the Sinigang (sour soup) brought a wonderfully tangy tamarind punch to balance out the richness of the meats. To top it all off, the drinks were fantastic; the Ube (purple yam) iced drink was both beautiful and delicious. The portions are incredibly generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the flavors are spot-on authentic. Whether you are craving a taste of home or trying Filipino cuisine for the first time, this hidden gem to try.

Small and quaint Chinese breakfast shop on Dominion Road, Balmoral. Can be easily missed so one you pass KFC and the big statue of the park you're almost there. The shop offers a large variety of Chinese breakfast/brunch items at low prices. The shop is so popular, getting a table can be hard as seating is limited even though they have upstairs seating but this is also very limited. Food can take a tad longer to come out as everything is made to order. The porridge and rice rolls are comforting and filling, and the pancakes and fried breads are crispy and crunchy.

A little find in Patterson Lakes, a cafe style shop. The food was amazing, a variety of Vietnamese dishes & Banh mi. They also offer all day breakfast, bacon and egg rolls and apparently their coffee is really good. I only didn’t give 5 stars as there was no vegetarian Banh mi. Staff were lovely and friendly and service quick.
