Order Food in lyall-bay

The most beautiful kebab that I have in Wellington and Porirua area. They have choices of falafel, chicken, or lamb. You can also have it combine for extra dollar.

Surprisingly good laksa. I wasn't expecting a lot but other than the rubbery chicken it was quite good. Not particularly remarkable for the price though. Curry chicken and roti was good and I'd definitely have that again, even though the curry sauce was a bit thin. I thought it was a bit of a risk ordering from somewhere with a hybrid menu like this and was pleasantly surprised.

Indulged myself to fish and chips for Xmas treat. The fish of the day was Warehou, a decent size compared to other shops and crumbed nicely. However the chips were no longer than 2" in length appearing to be cheaper ends/offcuts. A decent length chip would be nicer to savour the flavour.

Find was average. Dumplings in the noodle soup was tasteless. The fried calamari was good. Sat at the tables in the front, became full of them, bruised my knee getting up.

Our favourite fish and chip shop in Island bay was closed on the 27th of December. Chopsticks was open so we ordered their $23 special and a couple of burgers. We didn’t want to go hard with ordering as we weren’t too sure on the quality of the food. The fish was amazing just like our favourite place and plenty of chips for two. The steak burger had steak in it. Not steak with a beef pattie. An all steak burger. My partner had a fish burger and enjoyed it. Will definitely go back and recommend.

Great food and great vibes! Went out to a late night dinner w a friend and shared the Salsa Fungi Pasta & it was delicious!! Also ordered the butter chicken myself and that was lovely! ☺️ A very chilled atmosphere w very friendly staff 😊 thank you so much! Presentation of the food was very cute too ☺️ forgot to take a photo of the butter chicken 🫣 definitely next time tho!
