I had the braised beef noodles, really delish. The beef & broth had such a nice flavour. Crispy duck and the fungi was really lovely as well. Spent ages there and had such a nice long lunch.

The taste is pretty much the same as what I had in China — quite authentic. The prices are also reasonable, with options for every budget. You can get a full meal for just $20, or enjoy something more premium like fish for $50. Service is lovely! Highly recommended!

The stir-fried pork rice noodles were really delicious — the flavor just keeps getting better! They also offer a nice variety of free side dishes, which was a great surprise.
And the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
I really enjoy it!!

Sautéed pork and egg with chili is yummy. Great texture and lot of flavor.
Steam pork belly is too thin, but the bun comes with the pork is good.
Overall excellent value as they are doing special promotions in the month.

Casual cafe style clean. Unlicensed. Not big on atmosphere but who cares you come here for the food. Foodies take note! Well worth a visit and you’ll see other dishes you’ll want to return for. If you don’t like Spicy head for Maccas . This is HUNAN food as good as you will get outside of China or possibly better given the fresher and more secure kiwi grown ingredients. For the more faint hearted there are less piquant dishes such hainan chicken.
We ordered 3 mains and steamed rice as well as the cold appetiser. The cooked dishes arrived one by one within 10 minutes before we had finished the appetiser.
We were only 2 people yet the three dishes could have stretched out to four of us easily. Still our daughter was more than happy with the take out leftovers.
Prices were reasonable food excellent. Remember as unlicensed the place survives on the quality of food.
I was the only non Chinese in the place which is always a good sign. Of quality and value. I will be back for dinner before too long.
