Order Food in waikanae

My wife and I each enjoyed a wonderful fish fillet dinner this evening. The groper was beautifully cooked, the salad crispy fresh, and the wedges cooked "just right". Bluff oysters are in season at the moment, so we added eight to our order as a treat.The oysters arrived on a separate plate, and were cooked to perfection. All in all, simply wonderful!

This place has the potential to be 5* easily! Nice buttery and flaky fish, tasty homemade spring rolls and hand cut chips. But... the oil was dirty and left a bitter after taste of everything we ate. Such a shame, but a change of oil would bring it straight up to 5* and go in as one of the best chippies around in my opinion.

Cannot recommend this place enough! Ordered the Pork Ramen & asked for it to be spicy, it was perfect. So delicious! The place was very clean & the owner was so friendly & welcoming. We usually travel in to Wgtn city for a good ramen but now we will go here instead, definitely will be a regular on our list now! So happy we found this place 🥰
