Excellent fish and chip shop! My mother who lives close by gets battered fish once a week and I was lucky enough to be visiting one of those nights. They put herbs in the batter which is an ace touch.

It's alright. Decent food, good quantities, in and out fast enough. About what you'd expect from a roadside takeaway shop. You'll get what you need and be decently satisfied.

Unassuming looking place. But the service was friendly, the guy was polite and happy to serve. The chips nice golden brown and not greasy. The batter on the fish was great, I'd recommend getting the terakihi over the normal fish. The cheeseburger was great for $7! A basic meat patty but I really liked the way the cheese was done! On a chilly autumn night, we craved a warming, spicy meal. Sichuan cuisine seemed like the perfect choice, and luckily, there was a restaurant nearby. We ordered spicy fish fillet with bean sprouts, deep-fried prawns in a sweet and sour sauce, fried vegetables, pork dumplings, sauteed green beans, and fried rice. The spicy fish fillet was absolutely delicious, as were the prawns with their tangy sauce. The dumplings added to the feast, along with the flavourful vegetables and green beans. The fried rice served as a satisfying filler, ensuring we were fully satiated. All in all , the spiciness stimulates our senses, leaving a comforting warmth in its wake – the ideal antidote to a cool atmosphere.
