Amazing place, fish and chips salted well, not too salty. Whats best is the service, lady there at the cashier was extremely nice. We ordered mussels and somehow we got an extra, went back to tell them but in the end told that it was a gift to us, such a nice place. Do visit, cheap and good and good service.

Amazing find. Came here as daughter wanted udon for dinner. We ordered the tonkotsu ramen for ourselves while the daughter had katsu udon. Food is amazing! The katsu chicken from the udon was fried really well and was moist and juicy. Ramen was the star. Tasted amazing n much better than many big ramen chains in NZ. Highly recommended. Price was also reasonable. Will be back!

Grabbed the $16 special, hard and fast dinner happs lol Fish portion is huge! Greasy but man can’t complain..was good for size lol Chips, tasty and crunchy! Sausages: not bad at all ! If you’re in the area, try it!

One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in a long time! The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor — you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The portions were generous, and everything was packaged neatly. I especially loved the egg fried rice — absolute perfection. Ordering was easy, and the staff were super polite and efficient. This place has definitely become my go-to for Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend!

We recently ordered takeaway from Mini Siam in Takanini and were really impressed with both the food and the service. Another big plus is the parking—there’s plenty of space available, which makes pickup quick and hassle-free. The portion sizes were also very generous, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. Nothing felt rushed or cheap—just good, honest Thai food made with care. Overall, Mini Siam is definitely a hidden gem in Takanini. If you’re looking for fresh, tasty Thai food with great service and easy parking, we highly recommend giving them a try.
