Amazing place, fish and chips salted well, not too salty. Whats best is the service, lady there at the cashier was extremely nice. We ordered mussels and somehow we got an extra, went back to tell them but in the end told that it was a gift to us, such a nice place. Do visit, cheap and good and good service.

My photo does no justice but this is the best fish n chips takeaway in South Auckland. The crinkle chips are my fav (you can request straight chips), they are cooked perfectly 👌🏽 the fish is always fresh & the batter is light & crispy. This pack was $9 for 1 fish, 4 potato fritters & $4 chips. The chicken nibbles are also top tier & their chicken burger ❤️

I been here for a while I live next to you guys and your food is amazing idk why people are complaining about how "fatty the meat is" I usually order the crispy pork on rice and I don't mind it at all. like brother if you don't like the fat on the pork then go somewhere else. anyways leaving 5 stars cause your food is 🔥

We recently ordered takeaway from Mini Siam in Takanini and were really impressed with both the food and the service. We tried the Thai Cashew Chicken and the Pad Prek Khing, and both dishes were packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. The Cashew Chicken had a beautiful mix of textures—crunchy cashews, crisp vegetables, and tender chicken, all brought together with a deliciously savoury sauce. The Pad Prek Khing was rich and fragrant, with just the right level of spice and generous portions of meat and veggies. You can really taste the freshness in every bite.
The lady who took our order was so friendly and helpful—she made the whole experience even better with her warm and welcoming attitude. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile, especially when you’re picking up food after a long day.
Another big plus is the parking—there’s plenty of space available, which makes pickup quick and hassle-free. The portion sizes were also very generous, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. Nothing felt rushed or cheap—just good, honest Thai food made with care.
Overall, Mini Siam is definitely a hidden gem in Takanini. If you’re looking for fresh, tasty Thai food with great service and easy parking, we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back!
