Order Food in kumeu

Been going to Blue Chip for the last six years New people in there now and I’m not happy with the food. Potato fritters are tiny, chips aren’t fresh and crispy tasting. . Chicken burnt The oil isn’t clean Paid over $95 for food, Chips missing. Definitely will not be returning. How sad they can’t do better than the last people that were there Goodbye Blue Chip. It was good when it was good. Now it’s just terrible

Lunch menu starts from $22 per dish. A little pricey but understandable as they serve complimentary Chinese tea and soup and the portions were huge! One dish can actually feed two people but we wanted to try both the roast duck and roast pork. Roast duck was delicious and duck oil coated the rice, making every bite a delight. Roast pork was tender yet had a wonderful crunchy skin. Admittedly, towards the end, it got a bit cloying as it was quite rich but the Chinese tea helped in refreshing our palates. Unexpectedly the restaurant is bigger on the inside and looks like any typical Chinese restaurant. Service was fast (don't blink) - received our food within 15 minutes. Staff were pretty welcoming upon our entry into the restaurant and assisted promptly when we needed anything but otherwise left us to our meal, which we appreciated. They also sell various ingredients at the cashier - chilli oil, peanuts, salted fish, duck wings, duck feet etc. May need a translation tool though. A whole roast duck for takeaway is $50 and they very kindly entertained my request to have the bones separated. Would happily recommend and return.

With the amount of crap that this shop along with the other shops on this strip have to deal with each day in people - a 5 star is due as part of. Sushi is of a very high standard, especially around the lunch time mark when it's coming out fresh to replenish the lunch time demand. Staff here are lovely, even when people are stealing from them! do try the hot stuff, they have some lovely dinner dishes that are well worth getting stuck into. I think it's location doesn't do it justice, so don't expect to be walking into a Sushi bar that should have the same look and feel as in Epsom, with the same sort of personal space. This is Massey, and it's a very busy set of shops. They have huge foot traffic throughout the day through here. You can also order over the phone. They do make sushi to order too. Awesome for a quick feed of Sushi, probably the best around here. Have a great little hot press too with crumbed prawns etc. Lovely staff - always happy and smiling!

We came here for lunch, ordered the Banh mi and the pork and prawn dumplings. Both were delicious! The Banh mi was the best we have ever had! The service was excellent, all with a smile and very kind. We will definitely be making this a regular of ours. If you get the chance please come down and order some food you won’t regret it!!
