Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of dairy and oil, complementary textures, and reliance on herbs and vegetables. Common ingredients include shrimp paste, fish sauce, bean sauce, rice, fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables.
This was our second visit in 2 weeks.
The serving staff are so friendly, especially the young lady who served us today. She was very kind and thoughtful.
We ordered off the special menu - the curry combo plus the samosa and tea special.
We loved that you could swap the rice for the naans as we prefer naans.
The samosas were freshly cooked, nice and crispy on the outside and a flavoursome veg filling.
There was a little wait for the naans as these were cooked fresh to order. They were definitely worth the wait. I have to say the garlic naan is one of the best we have tasted. The naans were fluffy and the tandoori roti had a nice crisp texture. They were perfect.
All the curries were again cooked fresh. We saw the chicken tikka being put on the skewers ready to go in the tandoor. They had a lovely smokey taste and the pieces were juicy. The lamb melted in your mouth.
The karahi, jalfrezi and tikka masala had lots of large pieces of veg. All had a very generous portion of chicken and lamb in. They all had different unique authentic flavours, with a choice of spice level. All were served in lovely bowls and came out piping hot. Every dish was so tasty and was full of flavour.
The masa tea was huge and was a great way to finish the meal.
This is such a great place to have freshly cooked home cooked meals. Staff are great and the chef's were excellent.
We would highly recommend this restaurant. This is now one of our favourite restaurants. We'll worth the 20 minute drive.
We will definitely be back again soon.

The food was very good, the milkshakes were also really good. Restaurant is cool from the inside with lots of details. Staff are super friendly, gave us lots of compliments. Complimentary air hockey table for customers , and tv for the little ones!

I liked the ramandan buffet, I especially liked the beef brisket. However, the food weren’t refilled like I was told, my reservation time was kind of late but I had been assured that there’ll be refills throughout the night. My friend and I’s seat was put in the way of a walking path so people kept bumping me as I ate, the food ran out quickly and there weren’t refills, we just had one plate of food. The restaurant was rowdy, I couldn’t hear my friend speak to me most of the time. Aside from that, the food was delicious, I would come back again if we could get better seats and the food was actually refilled.

Food quality good, chef was very friendly and courteous. Service could have been better by boys taking order and serving food but overall good. Good venue for small gathering, located close to Joondalup shopping centre behind Kulcha restaurant.

This is it!! Honestly this restaurant has to be the best in town, we were a group of 5 people and the food was fabulous.
After a tiring day at work, this place filled me up with energy, the Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was not bad. The building was a bit old but the place inside nice and clean.
Generous meat portion!
The food was brought to us in a nick of time! Definitely going back for another recharge ^^
A must try restaurant 😋

Midweek Dining Review
Despite visiting on a weekday, the restaurant was surprisingly busy and full—a good sign of its popularity.
For our entrée, we ordered the chicken lollipops, which were packed with flavour and absolutely delicious—a strong start to the meal.
For mains, we tried the steamed barramundi, soft shell crab curry, and sizzling Mongolian beef. The barramundi was a standout—perfectly cooked, soft, and tender. The soft shell crab curry was rich and tasty, though the portion was quite small (just one crab). Meanwhile, the Mongolian beef arrived sizzling with bold, savoury flavours.
Overall, it is satisfying meals!!
