The potion sizes were just right for the price and the food was delicious. A great sake menu was available, too. However the place became busy within an hour of arrival. quote We had a great dinner at Yaruki Japanese restaurant in Henderson. It was not authentic Japanese food. I would say it is more of a Korean Japanese restaurant or Japanese food made by Koreans with a Korean twist. For example, their beef tataki is well done all the way through as shown in my photo, their sashimi platter mainly consist of this white fish rather than having some tuna pieces or scallops and other varieties, and their tempura had a different type of dipping sauce from usual Japanese tempura dipping sauce and it had differently crumbed prawns. We were originally a bit disappointed when food first came out but everything tasted good! Their beef tataki was so soft and well seasoned. Their sashimi, although lack in the types of variety served, was really fresh and well sliced. Everything tasted delicious and the ladies were so lovely. I would give them a 4.5 out of 5 given their service, taste and serving portions. If you are looking for a pleasant place for good food in the area, that’s the place just don’t expect it to be authentic Japanese.
