Customer service was another highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Their warm approach added to the enjoyable dining experience.

The food here is amazing! The shoyu ramen is incredibly flavorful and the chicken inasal is cooked perfectly — super tasty and authentic. I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re in Dunedin, this place is a must-visit!

Disappointing tonkotsu. Flavours are off, small portion of meat which appears to be either be corned beef or corned pork. Pickled onion in it which is weird.
I doubt the broth seems poorly made, as in not the usual patience required to develop.
They have only been open not too long and the soft boil egg was done perfectly so cant be too harsh. Was really looking forward to a legit Tonkotsu though and they missed the mark here.

I just ate here at Tokyo Tokyo in Dunedin, and I ordered the tonkotsu special ramen. This is the most authentic ramen I’ve tasted so far.
I don’t know why some of the other comments say otherwise about their ramen. The flavor of the tonkotsu broth is perfect, unlike other restaurants here in Dunedin where they mostly use instant broth.
Of course, we all have different taste buds, but overall this ramen is excellent.
Maybe some people don’t know how to eat authentic food and are more used to instant flavors.
