this is now my go-to for fish & chips. The battered fish is lovely and sweet. The spring, steak and curry rolls are all made in-store, which is always a good sign of quality.
My normal order would be 2 fish, spring roll, 3 potato firtters and 1/2 scoop chips - I ask for chips to be well-down and they kindly oblige.

This is a great takeaway shop in Tawa. Recently they delivered fish, sausages and chips for a large group at our bowling club. Everyone was most impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. Fish were large pieces and beautifully cooked. Sausages and chips also very good.
I have also had their Chinese meals in the past and they are always beautiful with fresh vegetables and very generous portions.

I absolutely need my Chinese takeaways time to time in my life and we just moved to Tawa from Wellington city we had no idea where to go etc. one of my closest friends originally from Tawa recommended this place and we went there once then I think we go here at least once a week now. Price can’t be better, very reasonable and the taste + quality of food is great too. I’ve never seen the actual sweet and sour pork that has more meat than carrots…. Probably my second favorite Chinese in the city after KC Cafe but it’s def my favorite. The owners are so friendly and lovely too, I would highly recommend this places.
