Kerala cuisine offers a multitude of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes prepared using fish, poultry and red meat with rice a typical accompaniment. Chillies, curry leaves, coconut, mustard seeds, turmeric, tamarind, and asafoetida are all frequently used.

quote We had banana leaf set for dinner (basmathi rice came with 3 vege side dish, ginger paste acar pickle and rassam. Mixed with 3 types of curry..fish, chicken and dhal curry). They also gave us fried salted dried chillis. We also ordered fried tenggiri, varuval chicken, fried bitter gourd and gobi manchurian. Very delicious, each curry/dish taste different. For drinks we ordered lemon sharbat (that had green Thai chillies in it! Very refreshing)and nescafe ice. For desserts we ordered mango puttu and pistachio kulfi and massala tea. All food came at one time. Servers were very friendly and thoughtful, always came around and ask if we want for extra rice. Will come again and try more delicious dishes.
