A true hidden gem !! I've known about this restaurant for years and finally had a chance to visit with my partner. We ordered 2 grilled chicken thighs, and shared a banana leaf rice with anchovies. The chicken came with sambal. Long story short, my partner was upset we didn't come here sooner when it's soo close to home! The food was amazing, and my partner said it was just like the food he had in Indonesia!! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled, the sambal added the perfect about of kick, and the rice was so fragrant and beautifully paired with the chicken. We got complimentary dessert at the end which was perfect for this hot day! Next time we might try the nasi goreng as we could smell it cooking and made our mouth water! The chicken is a definite repeat though! The owners were so lovely and kind. We saw a few regulars come in and I can see why they are regulars!

The service is quick and the food is really homely + delicious. We wanted extra dahi to go along with our food and it was provided complimentarily as well. The rates are so economical and the quantity was more than enough for 2 people. Really the perfect spot if you're craving desi style food.

We come here mainly for the fried foods. Fried duck is always amazing, crispy and soft. The BBQ Chicken (Ayam Panyet) is also very nice. I have tried other foods but these two are the best so far. The staff are always friendly. It's rather challenging finding halal duck. If you're in the area, try the fried duck and the BBQ chicken, I'm sure you'll enjoy them! Pricing is reasonable.

I really enjoyed the Yellow rice with Beef rendang, Tempe vegie and Anchovy peanut. The place is simple, with friendly staffs. Price is reasonable which is around $18 per meal. I will be back and thank you!
