One of the most important things about yum char is that the dim sum has to be piping hot when it arrives on your table.
The steamed dim sum was hot and nice.
The eggplant was the best.
However, what was most disappointing was the one we were looking to - Pineapple BBQ Pork Bun. It was cold, almost stale, and the filling tasted a little sour. The size was definitely not as big as it once was.
The quality has definitely decreased, and it will be a very long time before we come back again.

Came on a Saturday at lunchtime for Yum Cha and it was only half full, although the carpark downstairs was full. You order from a menu by selecting what you want to order and hand over the form to the wait staff. The food came out fairly quickly and the portions are quite big compared to other places. Overall, not bad

I visited Mandarin Palace Seafood Restaurant recently and tried only their dim sum, and I must say it was delicious. The variety was impressive, with all the dim sum staples like har gow, siu mai, BBQ pork buns, and cheung fun freshly prepared and served steaming hot.
Service was efficient, and the food came out quite quickly even though it was fairly busy. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, it was a satisfying dim sum experience. I can’t comment on the seafood/main dishes yet, but I’ll definitely return to try more.

Haven't been back 20 years. Mandarin Palace still the same. Food is amazing delicious. Good yumcha. A few new dishes. Love the deep fried taro dumplings. Stir fry thick Ho fun. Good place to a big groups and big round table. Foods to share.

Nice table arrangements, not too noisy when lots of people talking. Dishes are good. I like the fried rice sticks, Singapore Style.
