Very good value, authentic Taiwanese food with generous portions. Good quality home made style, wholesome food. My daughters could not finish had to take away leftovers. Drinks and deserts were very well priced at $5 or $6. Free soup and water. Service is prompt and efficient. Definitely worth coming back. Off street parking fits about 8 cars. Seating, tableware and utensils are basic and tidy. It is a regular lunchroom for workers in this commercial area.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Auckland. The food is fantastic and authentic! I can tell they spend lots of time and effort on cooking. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back again and frequently! Highly recommended to everyone!

Hsiu Yuan Food Co is truly a hidden gem.
I’ve been coming here for the last 30 years, and every visit still feels like a little trip home to Taiwan. The food is incredibly authentic, rich in flavour, generous in portion, and full of heart. You can really taste the care in every dish, and the value for money is amazing.
Right now, they’re offering handmade Zongzi (rice dumplings), available in white or purple rice, with meat or vegetarian fillings. I tried them recently and they were absolutely delicious. Soft, savoury, and so comforting, just like the kind you’d find at a street stall back in Taiwan during Dragon Boat Festival.
Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for real Taiwanese home cooking that nourishes both your belly and your heart.

Food is good and affordable. But when you are closed Please kindly change your opening hours on Google map. It's not abig work for you but you can at least show your respect to your customersb time!
