Fishy Business Takeaway

This is a mandatory stopover whenever we are passing Taupo as the chicken chips are the best! Lots of different flavours to choose from and we have tried them all. We have not tried the other items on the menu and plan to do so on another trip. They are fairly busy and always greeted with a friendly smile. Parking also a bonus with a large lot and often available spaces.

Ordered 3 scoops got maybe 5 equivalent plus extra bits and pieces. Very affordable too. Definite recommend

Taiwanese chicken was very good (be sure to order the pic at the cashier, they have something similar salt and pepper chicken but they are different) Must go for their lunch special. Had their beef black bean sauce rice and its the best thing and best chinese food in nz. Beef was tender and not to mention its loaded with yummy ingredients and the sauce was bomb, fragrant and not salty. Boss was very nice and friendly too. Will specially eat there if i pass by taupo

Nuggets

Updated: second time here was quite disappointed with their service. The cashier was polite however the chef at the back was rude and questioning our order with an attitude. Won’t be back again. First time: Love our chicken strips and great service. Waiting was a bit long but worth it! Just two mins drive from the two mile beach.

📍 Fishy Business Known as the famous internet-famous fried chicken restaurant, I've personally been there twice, and the taste is quite similar to what I had in Taiwan. If you order the fried chicken, be sure to add some spice, it's much tastier that way! The fried Hoki is cheap and generous in portion!
