I walked pass this place so many times until last weekend when a friend brought me here. I wasn't particularly hungry so I ordered Mini Masala Dosa. I was blown away by how delicious the dish was. I really enjoyed the dipping sauce and the potatoes inside the crepes. The owner is very friendly and talked to us. I will definitely come back here to try other things!

Amazing hospitality, amazing food and sooo authentic!! A must try in Dunedin. Nothing hits the soul like “home cooked” Indian food. Thank you for giving us a taste of home while we are miles away. We will come again tmr! 😋

My first time here and I loved it. The medu vada were outstanding and my mint masal dosa was wonderful - light, crispy, flavourful. The people we were attended by were just lovely. I'm normally a staunch meat eater and even though there is a well thought-out selection of meat dishes, the vegetarian dishes really shine. I think I could have picked up anything off the menu and been completely satisfied - I'm looking forward to returning !

Fantastic South Indian food! A real delight to find such good cuisine in this small part of the world.
The owners are passionate about what they do and it shows in the food. My colleague and I visited multiple of times during our 10 day stay in Dunedin and it was consistently good everytime. The Masala Dosas are a winner, extra crispy, with layers of soft fluffy pastry and full of potato masala. Awesome textures all round.
The curries (we tried all the meat ones) were rich, full of flavour and well balanced. Same with the Biryani. I've had Indian food in many places around the world, including India, and the food here is a standout.
I highly recommend Dosa ect. for anyone visiting Dunedin and wish the owners all the best 👍

It was our first time at Dosa Etc last night, we have ordered Masala Dosa and Kuthu Parata…both the dishes were delicious and flavourful. I would definitely visit again next time when I am back in dunedin. The service is too good
