Absolutely delicious! We had the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and lamb rogan josh, and every single dish was full of flavour and clearly made with care. The garlic naan was soft and so tasty! My 7 year old son called it one of his favourite restaurants ever! We’ll definitely be back.

After moving and living in Invercargill, New Zealand, our family has become huge fans of Indian cuisine. We have tried every Indian restaurant in town. This time, we drove about 25 minutes away to a place called Cafe Malabar, one of the branches of Malabar Restaurant in Winton.
As for the taste, this one takes the crown!
Big portions, friendly service, and an all-around satisfying experience.
Highly recommended for all Indian food lovers. A must-try. And for the naan, make sure you go for the garlic cheese—the taste is still stuck in my mind (and on my tongue) even now.
