Reducing the star rating to 4 stars for one reason only. The staff members are often not that friendly. I've been going to Basu lounge for around 8 years, and at some points the staff were so lovely and inviting. Unfortunately this isn't always the case. A smile helps. People don't want to feel like they are not wanted in the restaurant.

Trued the dandan noodle - medium spicy. Wasn't spicy for me so will get spicy next time. But wow! Noodle was savoury, delicious and amazing. The intense peanut flavour was 👌👌

Basu Lounge is my favourite takeaway place in Auckland!!! The food is so delicious and generous and full of flavour. The staff are so helpful and kind. I find myself craving the hot and sour noodle soup all the time - unbeatable. Thank you!
