Korean cuisine is largely based on rice, vegetables, seafood and meats. Traditional Korean meals are named for the number of side dishes that accompany steam-cooked short-grain rice. Kimchi is served at nearly every meal. Commonly used ingredients include sesame oil, doenjang, soy sauce, salt, garlic, ginger, gochugaru, gochujang and napa cabbage.

İskender was delicious... and huge! Tender chicken, fresh vegetables, perfect rice, and fluffy bread. Enough to feed two.

The best Turkish food in New Zealand, without a doubt. I LOVE kebabs/ Iskender and every time I see a kebab shop I have to try it — but honestly, nothing compares to Cafe Lokum. The flavour is authent...

Nice food, the area where you wait is a bit tired and could do with a refresh.

Outstanding, muscles were cooked too perfection, ordered a dozen. Fish was also great, coming from Otago/Southland, where we compere everything with blue cod, this was Warehou. Bloody awesome.
