Tastes pretty good and didn't have to wait too long, not cheap but would probably say it's worth it, burgers (except for some of the steak ones) are still under $10!
Batter came off the fish quite easily, but didn't affect the eating experience or taste

Came on a saturday, very busy. Is this the only proper fish and chip in takapuna?

Great fillet, cooked very well. Fillet was nice and white and was a great peice of fish.
- Chips 6.5/10
Found my chips were overcooked. Had brown chips which been on the oil too long. But in saying that they were crazy busy so ill give the benefit of the doubt.
- Scallops 8.8/10
Very good sized and aced these. Not over battered either, which is a good sign. Must try.
Overall, order you food on the phone to avoid being waiting for 30-45 min for your order. Nice spot.
