Bangin’. Fantastic staff. The Special Flavoured Eggplant was incredible. The prawn noodles were fantastic, good flavour and deliciously savoury, and the vegetable dumplings have to be some of the BEST I’ve had in years. So so good and delightful. We want more!!

Rising Sun Dumpling really impressed me! 🥟 The food was fresh and delicious, definitely some of the best I’ve had in New Zealand. The staff were super friendly and the service was fast. If you’re craving good dumplings and great vibes, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Went to Rising Sun Dumplings for dinner. Atmosphere was great combined with the delicious food and great customer service. Will surely be back here on my next trip to Dunedin. I highly recommend this place to anyone after a good Asian meal, try out the Beef Noodle soup, its my fav so far 😊😊

We have heard from work that this place was good. So stopped by for take away. Ordered 2 set of Dumplings - prawn and pork & vegetable. Sweet and sour. Price is not bad. Service was OK. The lady was friendly but her English is not good. You just have to be a bit understanding that English is not her first language but service is good. Shop is just a little bit rundown but food make it up for it. Menu is Hugh. I wish I could try them all. Look great.
