I had the pleasure of enjoying fish and chips from Riba fish&chips. It was absolutely delightful! The chef, who is also the owner, did an incredible job—frying the fish to perfection. Unlike many other places where the batter is often soggy, here it was wonderfully crisp, light, and golden. The chips were equally impressive—fresh, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. At other places, I’ve often felt like the chips were fried yesterday, microwaved, and then refried, leaving them dry and unappetizing. But not here! Everything tasted fresh and spot on. This is easily one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Very clean wiping each table as they left, friendly staff and even got a real fork to eat with! Well priced would highly recommend 😆

Portion sizes are great. Unfortunately the fish I got had no seasoning. However the fry (batter) was good and the chips were seasoned. Ended up paying extras for the sauce which I didn’t realize until after the total was given. They have few tables for you to be able to sit and eat there.

this place used to be the best however, i feel like there could be new owners? got the $10 pack and a hotdog - no sauce on hotdog which does seem strange. missing a potato fritter. fish wasn’t as good as it used to be. chips decent and not oily but cooked well. will give them another shot but disappointed as i would drive from takapuna just for there store.
