I don’t understand why this restaurant got such a low rating. This is THE Sichuan restaurant you go to in Auckland. Sure the service may not be great and the food is too spicy for non-Sichuannese, but the food is the BEST and AUTHENTIC. If you are after service, go somewhere that costs 100+ per person. If you find the spicy instant noodles are too spicy or just right for you, don’t even dare to go to this place. But please read the reviews before you go so you know what to expect.

My wife and I have always been fond of their food. The consistency between their different shops (both Dominion Road and Albany) is great. Their authenticity of Sichuan taste is incomparable. Friendly and efficient staff providing excellent customer service. Highly recommended if you haven’t tried. Dinning in taste even better than doing take aways.

Food is OK. Their mafa tofu dish was better than average. Noodle soup dishes are less than impressive. I would not visit this place unless I am extremely hungry and it is the only option.
