There is no better place in Auckland to enjoy home style Sichuan cuisine. Aunty cures her own Chinese bacon and makes her own Lap Cheung. Standout dishes are the stir fried bamboo with said home made bacon, smashed cucumber salad and pork in chilli oil. Love this place ❤️

I went to this place yesterday for the first time, the food looked genorous and appertising. I ordered dumplings with garlic and chilli takeaway for lunch. Dumplings were cooked from frozen and in water, I would've prefered a stock. When I got home and started to consume them, i'd had about 6 of them when I pulled a peice of pot scrub (Piece of steel) out of my mouth as well as what looked like bone out of the stuffing. This was my experience and maybe a one off but I wasn't happy with my dish.

I love this place- it is not your average five star place. I come here maybe once a fortnight for a shredded chicken noodle soup and it is the best. The owner makes her own sausage and often it is hanging to dry. It is the best.
