We called the place to say they’d forgotten it and they dropped it to our home with a free can of coke! Amazing!

Mumbai Masala Papamoa has quickly become one of my all-time favourite local spots. Every meal here is a flavour explosion — rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. You can tell the chefs take real pride in their craft; every curry is layered with depth, and the naan is soft, warm, and cooked to perfection.
The service is just as impressive — friendly, genuine, and attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeaway, they make you feel genuinely valued.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the portions are generous, and the consistency is remarkable — every visit is a 10/10 experience.
If you love Indian cuisine (or even if you think you don’t yet), this place will convert you. Easily the best Indian food in the Bay, and honestly, one of the best meals you’ll find anywhere.
Highly recommend the butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, and garlic naan — but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
