A rest owned by a northern Chinese couple. They are very nice, could not speak mandarin well instead they spoke a dialect. You can still understand them 80%. Food was good, big portion, and most of them are yum. Hi La soup was seasoned with tons of spices and made it undrinkable to me, but other customers seemed fine. It could be personal preference. Price is also reasonable. We will be back for more but not Hu La soup.

Instead of dining at the usual restaurants lining Dominion Rd, recently visited this eatery located in Eden Quarter with a group of friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant is not big, but has a nice ambience, clean and the service was quick and cheerful 😃.
Among all the dishes we ordered, our favourites were Chicken with Fresh Chili (粒粒鸡), Lamb with Cumin (孜然羊肉) and in particular Three Brothers (地三鲜, a vegetarian dish with fried potato, eggplant and pepper in a garlicky savory sauce). 地三鲜 is a signature northern Chinese dish & its poetic name is roughly translated to “three treasures from the earth”. It is a very simply, family styled and rusty dish, but ohh man it is soo mouth-wateringly delicious 😋.

One of the best place for the Chinese breakfast. Their noodles are really good plus good variety options. The price is very reasonable. I will recommend this place for everyone. Vincent H

Used to have my traditional chinese breakfast here.
Took an easy lunch today with my friend.
Simply a Northern China family restaurant, demonstrating traditional chinese way of cooking skills and seasonings.
Friendly price definitely value for the portion and the money you spend.
Whenever I miss my late Dad this is the place to taste a bit of his love.
