The “taro sweet potatoes” is a MUST TRY. Deep fried sweet potato batter with taro paste inside. The outside is super light and crispy into a chewy mochi texture into a sweet taro paste. Only $8 for 8 as well, what a deal. Prices are super reasonable compared to other chinese restaurants these days.. Might be my new go to for chinese takeout :)

Food:(3/5)
Had the Fujian wontons but the fillings were very bland and the wontons soup was super greasy. The peanut butter sauce noodles were very tasty but still too oily. The braised beef and potatoes on rice was very average and the beef was a bit tough.
Service was very fast because no customers.

I’ve been going to this place for years and it’s consistently good, my personal favourites on the menu are the cucumber salad (which is one of the best in the city in my opinion), the peanut paste noodles (with the handmade noodles instead of the regular noodles) and the dumplings in spicy sauce. Everything is really tasty and it’s great value as well. I’d love to try out some more things on the menu and would highly recommend coming here for a quick, cheap and tasty lunch or dinner. I took my friends here a couple of weeks ago and we’ve been back two more times in the last month. There’s also lots of parking available and the service is efficient and reliable.

Located on Dominion Road across the road from Countdown and close to Eden Park, so good option before a game. Lots of options on the menu, which is in Chinese and English. Good value for money and the portions are generous. Taste wise, the flavours are ok, nothing fancy but will full you up.

We came to this place serveral times for lunch and dinner. It was a small restaurant but pleasant. Service was friendly. The food was tasty and with
a reasonable serving for the price. If you are keen on noodles, try
this place. You will not be disappointed.
